The vision behind Iconic Seating

A passion for design, built over time

Behind Iconic Seating is the vision and passion of its founder, Dean Codd.

With over 20 years of experience in vintage furniture, Dean has dedicated his career to sourcing, restoring and appreciating furniture with enduring design and character.

His particular passion for seating — pieces where form, function and history come together — led to the creation of Iconic Seating in 2019.

Today, the collection brings together carefully selected vintage and mid-century seating for those who appreciate quality, character and timeless design.

Sourcing & Provenance

Selected for character. Chosen to last.

Every piece is carefully selected for its design, craftsmanship, authenticity and character.

We believe vintage furniture should retain its history. Wherever possible, original materials, finishes and natural signs of age are preserved rather than concealed.

Condition and provenance are described honestly, giving each client a clear understanding of the piece before making a purchase.

Based in England, Dean’s curated selections are offered to clients who appreciate quality, character and classic design.
