A distinctive mid-century design by Carl Jacobs for British manufacturer Kandya, the C2 “Jason” chair features a sculptural moulded plywood seat and back set on a solid wooden frame. Its elegant curved form and distinctive construction make it a striking example of early post-war design.
This example is in good vintage condition, with signs of age and use consistent with its period. A previous repair to one leg and replacement seat screws are present, as shown in the photographs. No maker’s mark is present.
